How stable & sturdy is the Lillipad?
You'll be pleasantly surprised and impressed. Lillipad's operational load rating is 75 lbs because it is a portable desk, but it's built tougher than most permanent desks. Our desks are Intertek certified and conform to UL962 Standard for small office & home office furnishings, and certified to CSA STD C22.2#68.

Will my legs interfere with the Lillipad crossbars?
Unless you're over 6'7", you will not need to worry about your legs touching the crossbars. During product design, we conducted numerous ergonomic tests to ensure maximum comfort for users of all heights. Whether seated with legs positioned at 90 degrees or fully extended, there is plenty of room for clearance without interference. Our Co-Founders stand tall at 6'4" and 6'6", so you can trust we've got the tall folks covered!
Can the wheels roll on carpet?

I bought the Lillipad to be able to work from my small home (almost tiny). The ability to completely have my bedroom redesign as an office in just a couple of minutes is a game changer. The design is intelligent and the construction is sturdy. In addition, it looks great. You have a great product.
I have really been enjoying my new Lillipad standing desk. I stood up all day for work, rather than sitting. My desk looks a lot less cluttered because I’m using the dual monitor arms. I must remark on how great their customer service is. While unpacking the hardware, I realized that two pieces were missing. I called the customer service number on a Sunday. A real person answered, was polite and professional, and said the parts would be sent to me via expedited shipping. That just happened, right before Christmas, so I am still waiting on the two parts, but I’m sure they will arrive soon. The only complaint that I have is that the desk can’t be used as a floor sitting desk. Before purchasing the desk, I chatted with customer service to ask if I could use this desk while sitting on the floor. The response was that the desk is operable between 6” to 42”. This led me to believe that I could use this desk either while sitting on the floor, sitting in a chair, or standing. When I received the manual, it states that the desk should not hold any weight below 26.5”. This is not low enough to sit on the floor.
I love this desk. So simple to set up and move.
Wow. I'm so glad I got this desk. We have a similar situation where we have a "portable TV" that we roll from the living room to the bedroom and back. It's so well built. Price tag might be a little high but they have great customer service!

I have been on the fence for awhile - loved the concept of going to floor sitting and I spent 6 months going back and forth between Lilipad and Uppeal. I finally settled on Lilipad for a couple of reasons.
1.) They answer their chat and were very helpful in doing so (yay good customer service even before purchase) and
2.) the set up - I am not one who will be move my desk often, but the thought of no assembly out of the box was appealing (and so so so worth it!).
The lift mechanism is smooth and easy to use, instructions for use are super clear. I have my desk on very high pile carpet and it glides like an olympic figure skater across the ice.
I appreciate its manufactured here in the US in Wisconsin.
Shipping was way faster than the anticipated/ quoted time, and thats with it being early/ mid December. Packaging was great, everything arrived in good shape.
The one thing I wasn't quite sold on was buying their monitor arms. If you need one, just do it. I tested the clamp on I have at home - I was trying not to spend extra since I already have one - and eh, I get it, and am about to order the one made for the desk. I can see where it will be sturdier (the desk top is relatively thin) since its in board instead on right on the edge. That said, even if you opt to not get the mounts, the hole for the mount isn't obtrusive at all.
All in all, no regrets. Its a very solid as-advertised product and I'm delighted with the ability to go from floor to stand during the day.
